PRESIDENT BIDEN AND VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS CHARITABLE GIVING

Each year, I post the charitable giving of our federal elected leaders. This information can be found in their released tax returns. I think it’s helpful for voters to have a sense of their leader’s generosity especially in light of the political stances they take.

President Biden released his 2021 tax returns recently. Here’s what they showed. President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden reported income of $611,000 for 2021. They gave $17,394 to charity. That equates to 2.8% of their gross income.

Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff reported income of $1.7 million in 2021. They gave $22,100 to charity. That equates to 1.3% of their gross income.
